No boss wants to read a massive email detailing your "problems". Bosses want people who fix problems. I'd read the first sentence then move on to other things. Even the f you are man enough to talk to your boss, have some solutions to said problems before you go in, so he doesn't think you are a whiny baby.

The guy is in way over his head. Everything that goes worng he blames everyone but himself. I sent him an email last week detailing all of the problems I am having and he basically blamed me for all the problems and took zero responsibility. This company has had a lot of turnover lately and he is the reason for it. Anyone else have the joy of working with a prick like this guy?
damn, sounds like 2016 will be a shitty year for you - publish your mailing address and I will overnight you a box of Kleenex - good luck.

Based on your post, this shouldn't be hard.

Dear Jerk,

I quit.

Sincerely,

bayou chopdick

That'll be the best letter your boss has ever read.

I had a situation like this for over three years, blamed others on projects, never returned emails, on one on one meetings never followed up and when I brought items up that were previously mentioned and were not followed up on they would throw the other person under the bus - it was quite amazing at the incompetence.
They were finally terminated mid-December - I'm never happy when a employee is fired but I was amazed how this went on for over three years or how that person really was able to fool people into getting the job in the beginning.

At LSU-monroe we just tell them to go back to office and play their computer games. Most of the dept heads are idiots.

That is why the interview process sucks.

Smooth talkers and good looking people are the only beneficiaries.

Sounds exactly like my manager. He's a scatter brain doofus and also a condescending jerk. He always screws things up and says it was a miscommunication or some bullshite. He only gets a pass because the owner of the company likes him but he has no idea how much everyone else hates him. I can't tell you how many good employees left the company to get away from this guy... I feel your pain

Turnover with McDonalds is nothing new. I really don't think your supervisor has much to do with it.

Just keep on frying those fries and stop being a bitch.

I'd put a million bucks on this being true. Whether or not it is your fault doesn't even matter at this point.

Keep your head down, do the specific work you have been asked to do and do it well.

I'm not saying this will apply to you, but I was perceived as an idealistic know-it-all for a couple years by the folks that have been around for 30 years and that did not go well for me.

Interesting... I have a stupid bitch... Says she has a masters in hospital administration; however, she can't spell, uses words out of context, and cannot put a sentence together...

Oh yeah, she likes throwing staff under the bus as well....

She's been in the position about 2 months, hopefully she's gone before a year...

He's running the Ol' "5 minute management" style. He blamed you for the problems because they are YOUR problems. He expects you to be good enough at your job to handle them yourself. He doesn't want to help you do the work, he wants you to do it yourself. Take control of that shite. Do what needs to get done.
