You have to leave your truck running while you cut the tree down.

Post your work number, I'll take care of that while you take care of the cat.

Honk the horn a bunch of times or spray it with the hose. Cats hate water

Come on Hammertime.

That is so “one hour ago”.

Cats in a tree now.

Keep up.

Cats get in engine housings all the time. It’s warm in there.

It’s 80 degrees yesterday. The cat doesn’t have to get inside a engine to get warm

It was probably chasing a rat or mouse

Dude, it's just an innocent animal. So some compassion. And, whose blood could you bleed other than your own?

I would have just driven through a creek that went up to the doors. He would’ve either gotten out or quit making noise

Good idea.

I've found that if you kill the cat before you grab it you're less likely to get scratched.

Shoot it with a pellet gun. Just not in the head or chest. Shoot him in the leg.

You don’t want to kill the cat. It’s a good cat. Didn’t do nuffin wrong.

I would have been tempted to let him cook, but the smell would have been horrendous. What are the kids saying about all this?

They’re trying to free the cat, instead of getting dressed for school. Much to their mama’s chagrin.

Cat in the truck, eh? Ok, now you're talking my language. I know this game.

It probably flattened itself and found a seam in between the skid plate.

There's always that chance that the cat would have go caught up in the belt, causing the belt to slip and timing getting off, doing damage to the engine, fan, belt, and creating a big fricking mess that would have to burn/wear off over time. Never start and engine with a live animal under the hood because you more than likely are going to come out on the losing end.

"Can we keep it?"

If you do keep it, you gotta name it Tanden.
