I followed my doc instructions to the T and still had pain for at least a couple of weeks but it was bearable. Do you know have a follow up scheduled? If it’s hurting that much you better get in soon.

Pro tip for anyone with a hernia and considering a vasectomy, ask your doc about doing them at the same time. I had a hernia operation last year and they did it while they were in there from the top. No cutting of the coin sack, no bleeding, no recovery. It was awesome.

Wait until you get 1-2 bouts of epididymitis a year the first few years after. After that things should even out and you'll be fine.
Go see doc make sure you don't have infection and if not get some pain meds or just ibuprofen and ice

Call your Dr. I had the exact same symptoms after my vasectomy. Dr. told me I was unlucky to be in the 1 percent that has this condition. He told me there was an 85 percent chance that my penis would rot off. Luckily I was in the 15 percent and it did not. Good luck.
