Just observed an upstanding citizen walk into a fast food establishment, saunter up to the drink dispenser and fill up her pink tumbler with ice and a drink. She then proceeded to walk out, get in her vehicle and leave.

The casual theft was kinda impressive.

I mean, I've done it with water and they almost always just wave me along.

But do you really think some minimum wage goon is gonna bother looking up from their phones for a couple cents worth of watered down drink for their corporate overlord?

That was not the reasonable blackman way of serving a beverage.

I disagree.

Allowing small infractions lead only to more and more of them, then greater infractions in time.

I'm a fan of Broken Windows.

That's what they call "changing consumer habits" and why McDonald's is removing access to their drink machines.

Would've been funny if someone knocked her out with a broom handle.

Which is why we have a scum bag theft problem running rampant in this country, by certain people.

I hate having to push a button and wait for my electric toothbrush heads. It's ridiculous.

If nothing else, you deserve an upvote for using the word "saunter."

Can't walk into most stores in my area and buy a bottle of vodka or Jack without having to wait 15-20 minutes for someone to open the locked liquor shelves because people are too scared to stop thieves these days.

When did this country become soft a new born baby shite?

As a worker? "Ma'am, you have to pay for that" and take photos of her and her getaway car.

As a customer? I'd like to believe I would say something, but I don't know if I'd want my arse jumped. I am a small human.

As a store owner? I'd have her trespassed using the information me-as-the-worker collected.

When enforcing even small rules became a form of systemic racism.
