Yeah that’s been on my mind. :lol; Definitely going to invest in a good scratching post!

Still not going to help. Male cat? If so, have that shite fixed right away or it will be pissing on everything.

get that cat declawed. they do it with laser now, and they don't mutilate the cats paws. His paws are left intact, only it's claws are gone. Cost is about $100 per paw, but in the long run it's worth it.

Cats can be really cool when they’re nice and want to be around you. I hate mean or standoffish cats. Just make sure you keep the litter box clean. You don’t want to be the guy who’s house smells like cat shite.

As much as I adore dogs, I love cats as well. Had a few dogs throughout my life, but maybe I should consider getting one.

RIP to that leather couch

My cat doesn't mess with the leather at all.

Occasionally I'll catch her putting her claws on a wall or the dining table, but she's not scratching. She's just trying to get my attention.

Cats can be very sweet, but they're also manipulative. My cat only meows to get my attention.

We got a Bengal about a year ago. Very good temperament for a cat. Like you, I've always been a dog person, but my wife is a cat person. And like Julius said Pulp Fiction, my wife's a "cat person", which pretty much makes me a "cat person". And she has grown on me, like you said.

Found this out this morning. Bengals can swim. Ours got bumped in the pool this morning. Wife said she was swimming like a pro until she was able to scoop her out. Freaked the cat out though.

Sounds like your wife is the only non-pussy in the house.

When I was a kid, my dad had found a baby rabbit in one of our fields. He brought it home to us in a medium sized cardboard box. We left it in the box on the front porch swing for just a minute or two to go inside for something. Came back out and the bunny was gone. Then we heard a weird muffled sound over and over. Follow the sound and see the bunny halfway down the cat's throat with it's back legs still kicking. Have hated cats ever since.

That's why I like them. They clean house.
