Definitely drive the Kancamagus Highway. Stop in Lincoln to look around. Go at dusk or after to try to spot moose along the tree line. Check out Sabbaday Falls and Cathedral Point. Just spent time this summer in Conway and Lincoln, NH. Loved NH — exceeded expectations.
Went to Portland as well. Try Becky’s Diner. The Portland Light Head had lovely views—Maine’s oldest lighthouse. The Custom’s House in downtown Portland was beautiful inside for historical architecture.

Do you have deer? Deer love them so use tree screening to protect them in the early years.

Ok thanks. This is currently an investment property for the owners. I’m no longer in BR, but used to live in the area, and many homes in Magnolia Woods are now sold as teardowns due to the nice location and large lot size, but older structure. Just thought someone here may know a builder, developer, or the like that doesn’t mind dealing directly with the owners. They may just go the route you mentioned though.
