I got home and there were about 10 pallets piled up in the back yard

I guess my gf has been on Pinterest again. I'll probably have to break them up or paint them this weekend.

Hope you have your pick ax handy, because pallets give you the most wood when you mine them.

Some good project ideas can be found on there. However, good luck breaking up pallets. They are nearly impossible to dismantle without breaking every piece. Pretty sure those things are constructed using black magic.

Sawzall man. Use one with a metal blade, and you can brake a pallet down in like 1 minute. No joke, its fast as shite, those old crappy nails are cut like butter.

She's made some pretty neat stuff from pinterest. She made herself an earring holder with wine corks and a picture frame. I guess the pallets means she has to up the pinterest dose to get her fix

I really want to build a potting bench out of pallet wood, but the idea of dragging them home and trying to break them up makes it seem not worth it.
