Carnival season officially starts on the January 6, the Epiphany. You’re not supposed to switch to Mardi Gras mode until then.

We put everything but the nativity scene up today. We always keep it out till Nativity or the w/e of.
And Christmas doesn't end till next week, the Baptism Of The Lord.

I see you have no culture, being from Georgia not surprised, but us Cajun Trash Christians celebrate the Epiphany and take ours down Jan. 6th like a proper Christian.

I put mine on back porch. Lights are still on it (no ornaments). May leave it up for a while. Kind of like it.

I took down all my lights but forgot that I’d put red bulbs in my outside light fixtures and when I came home tonight my house looked like a brothel.

I'm a proper Christian, just not a lazy Christian. Decorations come down by 1/1.

Lazy as in how? Jan. 1st or Jan. 6th doesn’t make 1 lazy otherwise you are lazy compared to someone that took them down Dec. 26th.
