Gravity is just like an really big invisible magnet that is attracted to "mass" just as a regular magnet is attracted to iron.

I have listed to many hours of podcasts and youtube videos on gravity and other related scientific stuff and that's about all I got

Slightly more to it than that.

Everything moves through 4-D spacetime at the speed of light. If you're at rest you're moving through time at the speed of light and not moving through 3-D space*.

The faster you go through 3-D space the slower you go through time. When an object falls, that's actually because it's moving along the path in 4-D spacetime toward the object with large mass.

More technically, freefall is the SHORTEST path an object can take through spacetime.

We really don't understand how it works at a fundamental level. We do have good models for it at certain levels though.
