For me, I was working in LA without a car (mine was in Houston at the time), so I flew on a red eye from LAx to Houston, landing saturday morning, leaving saturday afteroon around 2 or 3 PM. Got to las crucas at 12 AM sunday, left at 10 AM sunday, got to LA around 7 PM ish. Had work first thing monday morning at 8 am.
That’s over 24 hours, not 17, math whiz.

Drove from BR to California non stop with two other guys in the late 80’s We were doing turn arounds back then and they needed their ASAP. We couldn’t afford plane tickets at the time, I think it took us like thirty hours

Driven to Steamboat on a few occasions from BR. Usually around 25 hrs. Drove to Miami 2 weeks ago 15 hrs

I worked a 10 hour day and drove back to Baton Rouge. Pulled in about 7 am for being up for 26 hours
