If you can turn out a consistent product and are open when people buy donuts (the morning) and you are in a convenient location, I'd imagine a donut shop to be a very good investment opportunity.

Had a guy out in N.O. East that had a stand-alone building in the parking lot of a Winn-Dixie when they had one on Michoud and Chef Hwy. The building was not much bigger than your typical sno-ball stand and the guy would get there around 4 a.m. and start making donuts.

By 11 a.m. he was closed for the day and had sold all his inventory. He seemed to do well for himself, but did work that little shop 6 days a week, only closed on Monday.

Donut King

Most of all the Asian donut shops are owned by Cambodians, and it's because of this guy.

ButterCrisp Donut Shop

Hands down the best glaze donut I’ve ever had. Nothing has come close. Fresh to order every time.

Also show some respect please it’s spelled Butter Krisp.

Good donut shops are killing it! Always a line at Mary Lee on Perkins Rd.
