I don’t guess it is a good idea to go swimming in the Tangipahoa River this weekend

When will they clean the river?

It’s a great time right now.
Free lube, easy smokes, slippery women.

Wait a few minutes and the gang will be along to tell you that you’re faking pollution in the river, it’s fine to swim, and you’re just a greedy freeloader wanting a payday.

True story:
My mom went to cosmetology/barber school and is friends with the guy who invented the hair socks that are used to soak up oil in water. He came up with the idea while they were in class, and a couple of years later sold the patent for a boatload. Now, there are many different products of similar design.
I used to have a video of an interview with him saved. I can't find it now.

Cold front Saturday brings lots of clean rain to flush it out

Is it even safe to breathe the air out there?

Again?
Back in the nineties, the dairy farms were washing the barns out and the runoff mixed with the raw sewage coming from the camps.

That’s pretty irresponsible.

Or an NSFW haiku.
