Man, the band got stale. Too many drugs, sex and rock and roll. Time to move on.

The buyer pays shipping on eBay, correct? Or do you list it as a local pickup? Can’t imagine the shipping cost for some of the more bulky speakers. Any was to tell us your eBay handle without violating Chicken’s terms and conditions? Would be fun to follow the auctions in real time.

There are few greater scum bag businesses out there than self storage.

Pretty sure this unit is from a defunct church.
I was hoping it belonged to Aerosmith's 1988 tour manager. Oh well.

I think for the speakers I am going to put them in a flea market here. I know some people who have one and I will give them a commission to let me sell them there. I will post them on Facebook and tell people just to go there and get them. I did that recently with a stove I took out of my house.

Why?

What's crazy to me is when people pay more to store stuff for years than what it would cost just to buy new stuff. I would never rent a storage unit long-term for that very reason. It only makes sense for a few months in between moves or something IMO

Maybe make some flyers with pictures of the items and post at Luna’s (if it’s still open), and any other live music venues in Lake Charles.

Or just rent some space downtown and start a music collective called “Porquoi Pas, Part Deux”

I just never had the desire to do this. It’s too much of a gamble, and the thrill of the hunt is not there. Plus, it’s a ton of work.

Good luck, I hope you make a ton of $$$$
