The nurse was correct.
The statement was not overboard.
The parents are idiots.
The idea that little boys and girls hit each other when they like each other is common up until about age 10.
The damage was not caused by a fist but by contact with a hard object (ground, wall, door casing, etc.)

Looks like mommy's trying to create a future mattress carrier.
But in all seriousness, I could see this being a "he probably just likes you thing", but I have to admit that I'd be pretty concerned about stitches. Pulling hair or tripping or something is one thing. That pic looks like someone straight up cold-cocked her. Not sure I'd feel great about that happening to my kid. But I also would be smart enough to realize that the nurse making that comment was most likely trying to make my kid feel better, not some evil man trying to push the evil-white-man-rape-agenda on my 4 year old daughter.

I think it's brave for that lesbian couple to adopt a little _______ (insert whatever gender she eventually chooses).

yep. i guess the moms would have preferred a cold, robot spewing out a bunch of medical jargon that the kid didn't understand instead of making a joke to try to comfort her.

The hospital employee's comments were probably inappropriate, but I'd so tired of FB rage and everybody being mad about everything.
This. She should have had the guts to say what she felt right in front of the man. I happen to agree with her stance, but I do not at all agree with having a Facebook rant.
What's with that shite anyway? Someone posted here this morning some rant a woman had because a teacher wrote on the kid's test that they had been warned several times not to write their name in cursive and the kid still did it.... And there are actually people sharing and agreeing with this parent's rage towards the teacher.
Rage at what exactly? The teacher telling the student that they've been warned? That your special snowflake was taught cursive at home and is not following directions now that he/she knows it?
My dad used to teach me other methods in math that were not going to be taught for another year or two. When I'd use those methods on my homework instead of what the teacher taught me, I'd lose points... RIGHTFULLY SO.

I can never tell if you are being serious or sarcastic.
Whichever one is funnier.

It really is ridiculous to get that outraged over a hospital employee just trying to make conversation.
People, in general, seem to instantly take to the fricking airwaves every single time that they're butt hurt over something.
Back in the day, they'd just bitch to another imbecile, but now the mouth-breathers have dial-up and can post shite online.
