I love OT beer threads. This will get moved to the FDB where the pendulum will swing fairly far in the other direction. The truth is in the middle.
I'm a beer nerd (possibly a functioning alcoholic). I'm not a beer snob. I've waited in lines for rare beers and I've pounded Bud heavy while fishing in the marsh. I've traveled to the other side of the world with the main purpose of trying beer at the source. I've also bought 16 oz High Lifes out of ice buckets in gas stations. They all have their place. The trouble comes when one side bashes the other side.
Let's all enjoy our beer, whatever it may be. Let's catch a buzz, talk, laugh, and enjoy life.

I did find your analogy amusing....but I can't say I agree that a guy who is still drinking bud heavy is gonna "become a man" and start ordering buttery nipples....
