Craft beer enthusiast here: the freedom reserve is actually surprisingly good. Have to give credit where credit is due. AB also runs Goose Island which makes some good brews.
It's not that an adjunct lager doesn't have its place (on a hot sweaty day outdoors), but there are plenty of other options.

No, I drink Bud Heavy when playing tennis, sitting on the beach or eating Johnny’s. Otherwise I like to mix it up with craft or darker beers. Anything but Yiengling.

budwieser is an interesting phenomenon...nobody says they drink it. However, it continues to be one of the most popular beers on the planet.

Also, if you like Bud Heavy and they are serving it at a party, it is the last beer left. Also the coldest in the bar as they restock less often. There is some strategy there too.
