My daughter bought me 1 square foot of land in my ancestral homeland of Scotland. Evidently it's legit. Came with a certificate and everything.

Much of the money actually goes toward forest preservation in Scotland. Trust me, I've been there. There is precious little forest.

Did your daughter check the easements before she bought the property? She might not even be able to access the property.
