High resolution models are once again concentrating severe weather and flooding on the I-10 and I-12 corridors.

Flooding appears to be the biggest threat, but intense updraft helicities are certainly present which favors tornadic development

Of course. Just when people are getting their power back, it's time to lose it again.

So many trees either dead or severely stressed from last year’s drought. They will continue to be an issue.

Anyway you guys can get a snapshot of the severe weather on 5/15/24 to see what kind of weather that Baton Rouge doctor was flying through when he crashed?

According to an article I read he crashed around noon 20 miles southwest of Nashville.

Here is the radar for Wednesday at noon. Don’t see any severe weather. Just passing showers in the area

I don’t see any weather related issues from the crash. It was just a very very old plane that split…
