It’s 7miles vs 12 miles so 5 minutes or less unless there’s something wrong.

there is nothing structurally unsafe on that bridge and it is one of the most monitored bridges in the US.

and no you dont know more than me because you read some facebook karen post.

They made some major repairs after the Isle of Capri hit it during the hurricane

It's structurally safe.

People just get nervous driving over it and that makes it worse among the other factors SFP listed. I never understood the concern. It's steep but not like the rainbow bridge in Port Arthur

yea its dumb af how people get so scared of it. It is actually anything but unsafe.

all of the bolts have been replaced in the last 15 years, repairs after the hurricane and it is one of the most monitored bridges in the US

On thousands of occasions I’ve thought about what I’d do if my ride went off that bridge lol. Roll down windows real quick and get ready for impact.
