Always assumed those cars were made with recycled Korean newspapers.

Then you would be incorrect. You must be a democrat, as facts and numbers don’t lie.

Their cars are awesome. I wish they'd start making 3/4 and 1 ton pickup trucks.

I got no love or hate for the AP, but the white flight from BR has probably raised the median income of the parish to one of the highest in the state.

This may be the dumbest comment I’ve seen in a while. Ascension Parish has the 4th highest median household income in the state.

Where does it stand on the list for median trailerhold income?

Funny thing about these so-called "activists". Those are the ones who discreetly try to get sons, daughters, granchildren, etc. hired by the companies they are protesting against. No joke...

Hyundai and Kia are more American than Ford and Chevy now.

You doubled down and chewed all the way up El Gaucho's line and you are right at the boat. Keep going and you will hop in the boat, filet and fry yourself up. At this rate you might even eat yourself.

Good to see jobs and investment

However, I'm not a fan

I know people bag on Dville and the West Bank, but most enjoy not having traffic, riding SxS out in the cane fields, and a slower pace of life.

Not looking forward to light to light traffic, shitty DSLD neighborhoods popping up, and crime getting worse.

ETA: not a fan of the location. The infrastructure in place is in no way equipped to handle the traffic or people this will attract.

Just looking at how fricked up Gonzales, Prairieville, Dutchtown, etc is, I have no confidence this will make life better for the people living there today.

Big news for that area. It's hard, hot work and can be dangerous but it pays well.

All hispanics

No, the testing to work in this mill is going to be pretty tough.
You can't just throw anyone into work in a steel mill, you will end up with a bunch of dead and hurt people and constant legal problems.
I've heard that they have to test 100 people to hire 2 employees.
