Hypothetical business situation

Pretend you're a business owner. Customer X buys a "package" deal, i.e. let's call "massages." X buys 10 of them up front and receives a discount on the "bulk" purchase. The bulk discount should not matter, but in this case, he received 20 % of the total price.
Fast forward a couple of months, X has used 4 of his 10 massages. Now fast forward to today, X is moving and is asking for a refund of the 6 unused massages.
What would you do?
A) Refund the remaining 6 massages (pro-rated) at the discounted rate
B) Provide no refund and re-explain store policy that no refunds are allowed
C) Notify the customer that "bulk" purchase has no expiration date and can be used anytime he comes back into town
Personally, I would refund the remaining 6 massages, because it is not worth the potential for a negative review. Bad word, whether right or wrong, travels fast.
What say you?

So you're the a-hole who bought a bulk package deal and now wants the full price refunded even though you didn't pay that?

It depends on how new your business is and how one bad online review can impact sales.
I personally would not make issue a refund because it sets an expectation to provide the same to future customers.
You buy a book of stamps from the post office. Can you return the unused stamps after using the book for a few months?

I would stick to the terms/conditions of the package. Any negative review can be rebutted with that info.

Just jack him off six times in a row on the spot and be done with it.

A) It's "you're", not "your."
B) Try to refund at the discounted rate, less whatever the bulk discount would have been on only 4 purchases. If the massages are normally $10, you sold him 10 massages for $8 per, but 4 massages would have been sold for $9 per, refund him $44 ($48 pro-rated refund less $4 discount that is no longer applicable).

Depends on how much semen you needed to dispose of after his 4 rub and tugs
Over a gallon and you shouldn't refund him

You are under no obligation to refund it but like you stated it may not be worth the negative review. Most people understand that they paid for x amount of a service and just eat the rest if not used but if this person is demanding a refund then they are likely the kind that will give negative reviews.

Yeah it depends on the customer. The kind of guy that buys bulk massages probably has some influence in the massage community. It may be a better business decision to find some common ground on the refund.

if you want to be generous, you could refund the unused fee, after deducting the retail (not discounted) price for the items actually used. The customer doesn't get the bulk rate for what he used, but gets some of his money back.

Better.
