Ya'll need to have some compassion.
This was clearly the gun's fault both times.
This guy was just a really good guy, but when someone put a gun in his hand the gun rewired his mind and caused these terrible things to happen.
Clearly.

Any Black Mirror fans out there? I think a "White Bear" style punishment is acceptable here.

How the hell do 4 women fall for this guy?

This guy had to have had serious issues w/ his mom to be this violent and hatred towards women
Not excusing his poor decision making either. Even if he did have mommy issues as a kid, he deserved the execution, but never should have been released from prison the first time.

Why can't we feed people like this into a huge meat grinder?
I'm not opposed to that as long as it's done very slowly. The slower the better.

Gardner had a long history of violence against women. He shot his pregnant second wife, who later died from the injuries. After serving time in prison for her death, Gardner was released and later abducted his third wife at knifepoint and savagely beat her daughter. He also sexually assaulted one of his step-daughters. Gardner was convicted of Tammy’s murder in 2006 and sentenced to death.
how does one keep getting out?

and to think, Democrats move heaven and earth to try and defend and protect scum like Steven Gardner.
Democrats are 100% to blame for the murder of Tammy Gardner. They are the reason he was let out of prison for killing his first wife to begin with.

The judge who released him from prison should have been executed alongside of him....
Judges don’t release...it’s the parole board. Have a downvote for dumbfrickery.

In 1983, he was convicted of aggravated assault in the shooting of his wife at the time, Rhoda Gardner, who was pregnant and later died from her injuries. He served two years of an eight-year sentence in Mississippi. After two years on parole, he was again imprisoned after being accused of assaulting his new wife’s daughter, who required hospitalization, and kidnapping his wife at knifepoint

Texas has seven more executions scheduled through May.

quote:The drugs that Texas and other states are using aren't technically "approved" for executions, IIRC. Some states are hesitant to use them, I think, because they are afraid they could result in a botched execution that gives ground for a challenge to capital punishment under the 8th Amendment's prohibition for cruel and unusual punishment. Kind of like the Clayton Lockett case from Oklahoma where the guy groaned and writhed and mumbled for nearly an hour before giving up the ghost.
It's weird TX has the drugs to carry out their death sentences but LA claims they can't get any.
Personally, if we're going to have the death penalty, a proper hanging is the most efficient and humane way to do it. If the drop length is set correctly and the rope place correctly, it's nearly instantaneous.

Women love them Bad Boyz.
Good thing he's dead because sure as shite some woman would have married him again.
His marrying and murdering days are over.
