Any idea on if Central Waveland is in the cone?
Get it back to zero and start over.

We can take 3-5 inches here comfortably where i live. That 20 inch bullseye from the euro this morning had my butthole puckering.

If we get a major hurricane in the next week to 10 days just west of Vermilion Bay, the storm surge would go past Lafayette.

That’s impossible to know without knowing how much of an H west of Lafayette it is.

In what world would this happen?

What would happen if you got one outside of that timeframe?

I am scheduled to be in Crowley for the weekend at a baseball tournament. Why they have not canceled this yet is beyond me.

The storms where daycare or schools close but everyone has to go to work are always fun. This looks like one of those.
"abundance of caution"

The conspiracy theorist in me is thinking that the organizers are in bed with the hoteliers. Most places have 24 or 48 hour free cancellation policies. So the longer they wait, the more likely you will get screwed on having to pay to cancel your hotel.
But in reality, there is still too much uncertainty with this system.

Are the fields grass or turf?

When is the weather getting bad in Baton Rouge because of this?

That’s completely manageable.
Except in New Orleans because Destroya can't keep the pumps running.

Yes you know why. Same reason they have turfed (ruined) 99% of baseball fields. Same reason every tournament is multi day.
Cant miss a possible days worth of gate entry.
