That model has it shoving water into Tampa Bay, then going up and stomping on St George Island. That is shame because they have a lot of housing, but are not ruined by all of the Florida beach commercialism.

That north turn makes by far the most sense right now as northern trough alters the ridge off the Atlantic coast, orients it more to push a storm north vs west.

Oh good we can shut down the thread now since rocket says it’ll be a nothingburger. Come to think of it I’ve never even seen a system enter the Gulf in August become anything to worry about.
