I thought the GFS was broken. It ALWAYS had something coming into the gulf (yes I know it is unreliable), but there was always something headed to us.
Then like 2-3 weeks of nothing. I really thought it was broken.
Hopefully this will not form and just fade away.

I have a hunting trip planned for 9/29-10/1. As soon as I booked that trip, we were destined to have a storm. Wife and kids should have fun.

That's now the 8th(ish) hurricane that the GFS has sent into the general Mobile area this season.
