I live in Houston and I can assure you this is not the case. They are incredibly conservative in their calls. They do not wishcast at all. I have no idea what the other poster is talking about. Can they miss a call? Sure, everyone does and they admit it when it happens. They are hands down best in Houston and it’s not close.

I did. If that’s your definition of wishcasting, then we have different definitions. They are telling you there is a good chance of something tropical being in the gulf in a week an which point it can go from LA to Mexico. In other words, they are reporting what the Euro and GFS are saying. What would you have them do? Ignore it? Say there is no chance? I’m not sure I see what your complaining about here.

You don't see 'gut feelings', comparisons to Harvey and Ike for a system that is over 10 days out as wishcasting?

I think he is reading the other block quote and confusing it with Space City Weather.
Until the last page of this thread, I’ve never heard of them described as wishcasters by anyone.
It would be like someone saying Donald Trump is a dwarf or that Joe Biden is massively overweight. You can have strong opinions about things but some strain credulity to the extreme.

Ahhh no I asked if you had read my quote from the wxinfinity and storm2k forums. I haven't seen space city wishcast but I haven't paid attention to them in years. Go look at my quote though.

Boy would it be on brand for what the NHC is tracking to end up in the east Pacific. At least it would this year.

I've read the storm2k forums since around 2000 and he's an administrator for the site. Not sure what he does for wxinfinity but I think he's a moderator. I don't think I've ever seen him post that kind of drivel before but it's bad.
