The only trend is that there is a wave, that's not really a wave in the traditional sense, in the WCAB around the first of the month but it isn't the one NHC was expecting.

I feel like there is a pretty clear trend of the GFS predicting a hurricane in 8-10 days. Roll those dice enough times in September and it’s a sure thing.

Looking at the estimates, it has definitely gone to the west. There was a LA/MS border prediction, then Corpus Christi this morning, and now on the Texas/Mexico border.
