Not when it’s 100 degrees when it doesn’t rain. Give me the rain and highs in the low 80s all week.

This is the drought situation in TX. Light to moderate rain for a week would maybe make a little dent. As long as it doesn't pour at 3"+/hr and flood shite......let it rain.

Rummy is gonna jizz in his pants for that. They get a ton of rain, but much more manageable.

lulz...
Bruh, it's been over 100 and no rain for about 3 mo.
So, yeah...I'll easily take a week of rain.

Don't live in south or central TX if you can't handle this.
What's the matter your yard is dying?

Look at the day by day forecast. It isn't all falling within a week
They are going to get hardly any the next 3 days and 6+ in between Sunday and Tuesday. And the High Res models are showing it coming in big Thunderstorms not some gradual drizzle

So......over 3 days?
And on top of that, the QPF doesn't back up your hysterics.

How is the drought effecting the grape/wine harvest in the Hill Country?

I haven't heard, but I don't think they need all that much rain.

I know they have been focusing more and more on warm weather grapes that are more heat and drought resistant, but the vast majority can't totally survive a drought of this magnitude. I'm sure its at least effecting yield.
Hope you guys get some good rain soon. Not 32 inches though.

We were out that way in June and everything seemed okay - nobody was talking about it, but that was two-months ago...so you may be right. That said, they've actually had a couple of storms run through that area, so maybe they were able to get what they needed.
