Getting by. Slowly but surely..things are progressing.. but at a snails pace. So what you think about this storm?? I see zero worries for us, so you know what that means!!!

Yep Winds were 33mph earlier....still a ways to go to get to 39mph.

I had a doctor call and reschedule an appointment for Friday because they're closing Wednesday for the storm. The office is in Kenner

It's possible. Just stay vigilant.

Well, there's like 15 of them now, odds are they'll be at one...
We'll be at 7 this weekend....

The news will say "we're not out of the woods yet". That's my prediction.

Hunker down.
I’ll pucker when Cantore is sent to Mobile.

Over/under 8?
Is there a desirability/trashiness quotient scale on these?
I'm pretty sure the last one (and maybe only one?) I ever stayed at was the X next to the Florabama, so I'm wondering where I might fall there.

That’s the good spot.

Kinda disappointed a storm named Bertha is not at least a Cat 2 or something

100% will not be a Cat 5, and definitely won't hit New Orleans or Houston.
As we've seen with that TS that flooded central Louisiana, it doesnt need huge wind speeds to be devastating. Especially NOLA and its pumps
Posted on 7/20/26 at 4:42 pm to BurningHeart
We don’t talk about the 2016 TS that dumped on Central!!!!! Not ever!!!
