Still a well defined low level circulation, but not much in the way of serious convection around the center.

I still can't get over how fast this thing is moving. From 8 AM Sat to 8 Am Sunday it basically goes just off the coast of Yucutan to hitting Louisiana. Then in 24 hours it's already in almost Kentucky.

I mean, it is over land Slack.

Agree though, Nate still sloppy. Will take some time to get together at least over the open water tomorrow.

I'm perfectly fine with that. Faster it moves, less chance it has to become a beast and the faster we can be done with the crap.

This is one of those storms that would surprise the shite out of you in the 1960s or earlier.

Of course, just hoping it's structure stays ragged for as long as possible.

Some recent convection firing around the llc but not very organized looking.

Well yeah, that's what I mean. It's a positive to take out of the storm. The faster it moves less damage it will be allowed to accumulate. If those paths stay consistent, then it coming off land right now is what we all need to hope it doesn't see much strength there. It's heading into the warmer water and hopefully it has land interaction with the peninsula to help weaken it further regardless what it does.

NHC keeps Nate a TS with the 1:00 pm update. Should start to see some steady strengthening as it moves back out over water later today.

Looks like it should be over water again in the next 9 or so hours?
