The problem with that is at 26 mph, late tonight the storm will be making its turn after a Louisiana landfall.

Ok, let's build an overpass at Carrollton and I10. There is already a huge interstate overpass there. That would have to be a huge fricking overpass.
RR crossings would have traffic backed up to B.R.

its already west of NHC projected path

That's what is projected to happen and has been projected though. Now far inland it moves into Louisiana before it turns we'll see. Most models look like they show it turning rather abruptly once it hits Louisiana. Mostly coastal areas looking like they getting it if that holds up. It's hard to imagine the models have much error in them this close to land.

It's pretty muggy in the Metairie. Gusts to about 20 if I had to guess. Clouds aren't even spinning fast, but they are going east to west
Any projected wind maps?

It'll be "Louisiana" but just wetlands and marsh. Not that that's altogether great. We need those wetlands.

And that is my problem with the NHC forecast is they have not changed it if any since yesterday.

JBE now saying prepare for a Cat 3
Did anyone else hear him say 1/3 of all hurricanes make landfall outside the cone?
Our resident experts, is this true or is JBE sensationalizing?

What are you basing this on?
You can't judge movement by a few jogs on the radar

I see you studied under Dr. Polenstein as well. His publishings on oceanic sub Ligurian pressures and how they affect reinal dig with contorting drafts is magnificent
I think his writings are pure genius.
