Do we have a thread for all those invests coming off Africa right now? Looks like they have a decent shot at forming into something.

It's a little soon to be posting threads to follow waves.

Early GFS runs have 96 L (the first one) moving toward the islands and SE way out in the future, and the other one 97 L looks like a decent bet to curve out to sea early on.

Models continue to trend west, some kind of East Coast impact looking more likely. Media hype will be ramping up over the weekend.

Are we just going to focus on the European model? All I've read about Irma is how how the European model was more accurate than the US model.

It usually is, but I think the GFS has been a bit better with Jose. I could be wrong.

HWRF with that Martha's Vineyard cane.

Euro at 00z with a close call for coastal NE too.

Ole Jose still worse for wear after all the shear but looks like a proper blob ready to make one last good run at hurricane this morning.

So uh...while everyone is looking at 96-L, models bringing Jose awfully close to New England and Cape Cod firmly in the cone now...

Following with a timely 00z GFS run. UKMet appears to skirt NE too. King Euro gets in line tonight and NE will wake up to a surprise tomorrow.

So looks like Jose might loop around for an east coast landfall.
