Sustained wind of 72 mph and wind gust of 105 way inland north of Pace - Jay station.

Elevation of 220 feet makes a difference.

Just because they have money and act like rednecks, don't make them any classier. Destin has a lot of redneck trash, who have money living there.

Had a friend that lived in Mtn Brook and owned a house in Rosemary. He always called others rednecks. I told him if he lived in Alabama that he was a redneck like the rest of us

I’m wondering if this thing will bend back to the west as far as forecast. If not, west Alabama may not get much rain.

He’s not far from my house in Miramar. We still have power. Looking at the cameras and no visible damage anywhere.

Winds of 58 mph gusting to 75 mph were reported at 7:20 PM at the Woodlawn Beach Middle School then reports stopped.

Winds of 62 mph gusting to 75 mph were reported at 6:30 PM at the Escambia County Fire station #13 on the barrier island then reports stopped at 7:00 PM.

Looks like power outages and/or instrument failures.

ETA - A gust to 78 mph was just reported at 8:22 PM from the Naval Live Oaks station.
