This is 6 years old but pertinent.

When you have to create a video how to say it perhaps you should pick another name.

Yeah, basically OB vs. Pensacola.

Strength and timing are about the same.

Thankfully, most models are in agreement with a cat 1 at landfall so far.

If its Pensacola, this will be my first hurricane since moving down here. Stay and ride out a cat 1?

Storm Surge is the issue, if you’re not in harms way there, should be ok

All depends on your location in Pensacola. Are there trees that can hit your house if they fall? If you are decently inland and don't have tree issues I would stay. Near the water and/or have trees I'd GTFO.

They should just call it Isaiah.

quote:

Isaias and Isaiah are different spelling variations of the same Hebrew given name, Yeshayahu, which means "Yahweh is salvation" or "God is my salvation".

Key Differences

• Isaiah: This is the standard, most common English spelling of the Book of Isaiah prophet. It has been the predominant English form since the 1600s.
• Isaias: This spelling is more common in Spanish-, Portuguese-, and Greek-influenced cultures, as well as in Latin America. It is also used as a traditional or archaic variant in English translations.

Yeah. I guess there are a limited number of names starting with I in most languages - Spanish and English included.
