Most sites have a 30 minutes - 1hr battery backup.

Yeah that would be part of my stock up. I would have like 4 of the ones I currently have(you can charge your phone 7 times off one when fully charged) and have them all charged up before the storm.
Hopefully Liz, her SO, and the pup are ok.

That's not Miami intl airport. Wouldn't have jumbo jets running and ramp personnel out in a hurricane

A hundred dollar deep cycle marine battery and a $90 1500 Watt inverter is a good solution for emergency power (or tailgates)
