Meanwhile, coastal Georgia is still doing mandatory evacuations. It's like once they called the evac they don't want to not do it. So they've got poor people lined up around civic center to bus them to Augusta.

I have just about decided to stay.

My town on the mortheastern most part of Florida called for mandatory evacuations yesterday l, and now we are forecasted for basically Trop Storm winds. What a cluster.

It's kind of like when they close schools because of the threat of snow even when it's obvious it's not going to snow. No politician/bureaucrat wants to be the one everybody is blaming after the storm.
