Were going to see this weekend how much Florida learned from Texas.
Harvey was like a pissed off sloth with a UTI.
Irma is going to hit like a Tasmanian devil.

National Hurricane Center website is clearly getting tons of traffic today, has been slow all day for me.
In recognition of that, they are updating their twitter feed with all the maps and models.

Where did you get that traffic map?

I'm really hoping that it continues that NE track and spins into the ocean.
Hugo was 28 years ago, but damn I don't feel like are due.

That section of 75 leading out of Tampa and the turnpike has been under construction forever and is usually a nightmare. I can't even fathom it now.

Where does the greatest surge occur? Anegada has a high point of 28 feet above sea level and it's NE of the eye.

That's just a normal afternoon at this point. It's 3 PM over here.

A hard NE turn any time now would be wonderful for the US.
If this thing hit South Florida head on...yikes.
Trying to get my fraternity brother to leave now. I mean, right now. Don't wait. Now. It's too late for anything else. He's going to have to deal with 95 from basically where it begins in S Miami.

I use it every day to look in front of Waze to make sure it isn't screwing me on the commute.
