How worried should we be in South Texas? I know it's far out, but the earliest projections I saw seemed to have it favoring a route along the Atlantic coast starting with Florida.

It would have to get through the islands and South Florida and stay intact.

Everything is just slightly more SW of previous positioning, plus deeper pressure.

Big ole trough digging down but means the ridge going to build in to meet it.

Might be ejecting a little earlier too, but I can't recall where it was at this point on previous runs.

I actually appreciate the update, I've been so glued to Irma that I almost missed a golden opportunity to hate on Tennessee a little.

Edit- damn nevermind on that

GFS 00z run is just a hair SW of the previous so far, and skirts the top of Puerto Rico.
