That panhandle track has me wondering what would happen if two storms collided? Has that ever happened

I think there was a song written about it.....

San Antonio area has had up to 15" of rain this month so far, river's and creeks are near flood stage now, additional downpours will cause some issues around here.

Look up "Fujiwhara effect". Short answer is "kinda, but not exactly". It's more of a death spiral for one of the cyclones.

Does the NHC only update its rainfall map every 12 hours?

On November 1 the system evolved into a full-fledged hurricane with peak winds of 75 miles per hour (120 km/h), although the National Hurricane Center left it unnamed to avoid confusion amid media interest in the predecessor extratropical storm. It later received the name "the Perfect Storm" (playing off the common expression) after a conversation between Boston National Weather Service forecaster Robert Case and author Sebastian Junger.
Never took the time to look it up. Seriously.....?
A Cat 1 as "The Perfect Storm"?

Why does my 12z Euro rainfall map look different than yours?

Yours is right. I was toggling b/w the Euro and GFS and accidentally posted the GFS.

I'm in the Guard and my battalion is assigned up here in DC for the year. My wife and son can't leave because she is a home hospice nice. She is actually going to her parents that lives outside of Lake City for the storm. Their house has no trees around it and it would be safer than our house which has trees around it. I use to stay in those apartment but I got a house off of Ebenezer.
