It's one model, and you wouldn't exactly expect a drift from the NC coast to sweeping across Georgia.

This is a first. I dont recall ever seeing a hurricane go SOUTH along the east coast.

I will say the the Euro may end up being wrong but has been consistent with a SC track.

Guess its a wait and see at this point

Yeah, the direction is kinda messing with me too, because I know I always heard the "worst of it" is in the NorthWest Quadrant....well with it spinning and moving south, it looks like the worst of it would be north/northeast quadrants

Pretty much it looks like the worst of this storm would be over land, from my completely uneducated opinion. Duke? RDs? Thoughts?

The worst of it is typically the front right quadrant of the storm relative to motion of the storm. I.e. if the storm is heading NW, the worst quadrant would be the NE. If it is heading south, the worst quadrant is i the West.
