The Savannah weather people have obviously puckered anuses. They went from nothing to worry about yesterday to things can be really serious with no notice today.

Local weather here in the Pee Dee and Grand Strand of SC said they are expecting the center to be around 40-50 miles off the coast when it passes by.

Now we've had people on mandatory evacuation since noon yesterday and the storm is still two days away.
Just got done walking the dogs and teaching my 3 year old how to ride a bike in the street. Yep. SC governor set of a chain of panic by announcing a mandatory evac on Sunday. Georgia governor then felt he had to as well so he announced it via twitter at 1015 Sunday night blindsiding all the counties that were preparing in an orderly manner.

Early for this but the gfs has that wave coming off africa hitting NC/SC as a Cat 3/4 in the middle of the month

There's two of them lined up, and if one of them develop there's a good chance we'll have a long track CV storm. Would likely get tucked under the subtropical ridge again.

Way out in fantasy time, lets get through Dorian for the Southeast then start looking ahead. At the very least it's seems it will be active for a lot of the month of September.
