Technically I did

But really I meant it's easy compared to islands. I wasn't clear enough.

Do you also Hurricane Harvey? Harvey was not forecast to reach Category 4 strength. It did and made landfall as a Cat. 4.

Luck of the draw concerning steering features. There's really nothing else to blame.

Thanks. I'm not a meteorologist so I didn't know if there was some larger reason or it was just coincidence.

Thought so.

I have a large IQ also.

Lived in the midwest for a few years, in addition to the northeast and west coast. Where else have you lived because the midwest blows!!

I'm curious, when did humans start measuring sea level?

So how far from Florida to the islands by boat??? How far/how long of a trip? Landing a plane won't work -- helicopters I guess but I'm guessing supply boats will be sent with relief items??

When the seas calm and in the right boat it's a couple of hours to the closest port of entry in the Bahamas to declare.

Seriously, we have plenty of floods and shite and there are always some idiots that have to be rescued. After knowing way ahead of time the floods are coming.

There are dumb people, and those that consistently make bad bets, everywhere.

That's crazy. I don't care if my house is 20 feet up, I would not have stayed.

They should have just gotten in their cars and escaped to miami apparently.

I cannot even read anymore of this stupidity. If these posters were chickens they would surely drown the first time it rained.

I’d you’re directing this towards myself, it’s simply not true. I would have evacuated.
