Could he be wrong sure no is perfect. At least he'll give us informed reasons why he thinks a storm will move a certain way, instead of people coming on here and just staying it's going west or it's gonna hit here when they are so far out the cone.
Listen to your local expert professional meteorologist that actually get paid to deliver the weather.
Sure there are some guys here that like to post and paste and regurgitate info they get from the pros, but your best bet is to listen to your local weather experts
NOT THE WEATHER CHANNEL

I agree with that, especially not listening to the weather channel.

So now you are going to argue with and troll Duke?
Nah. Duke is good. He pretty good at regurgitating info quicker than the others.

I've been watching Levi's videos for a few years now. He does such a good job of breaking down the complex nuances of steering on hurricanes, and tonight's video may be some of his best work. He does a great job of explaining what is going on, particularly in regards to the stall over the Bahamas. He also explains what the models may or may not be picking up on.
His videos should be required viewing for anyone under threat.

Exactly
I just did Google map address check around Cocoa to the actual coast.
I-95 to the coast, approx 8 Miles in most spots.
What a difference 8-10 miles is going to make (for eye-wall impacts/worst)

They had a hurricane, a coast rider, that gave them 20-something inches of rain in a day. They flooded even though they were so close. It just cannot drain fast enough with that volume.
Good luck to your buds. Hopefully their house is built up a few feet, minimum.

That’s not a bad thing. Especially considering the dumbasses who want to offer up their personal feelings and such.

It’s frightening how so many people put their lives in the words of what people post on a message board vs actual hurricane experts
