The My Radar app. has this feature as well. I mentioned it earlier today. You can turn the wind map on with a globe style map. You can also show fronts.

I try to limit my "disaster junkie" tendencies by only indulging them at home...on my PC. Such an app would seriously stunt my ability to be social in public.

Air really sinking in eye. Just another sign of how powerful Dorian is getting.

I'm going to be out of pocket here shortly for the rest of the evening. Hopefully you, rt3, Duke, etc keep the images from Tropical Tidbits going while rds talks over everyone's head.

Eye temp 15 degrees warmer than earlier today (@webbweather a good follow). Significant intensification.

18z HMON misses Florida and keeps the tiny core of Dorian probably just far enough offshore. The 18z HWRF nearly pulls it off but eventually goes onshore around Cape Canaveral.

@webbweather a good follow

I'm following a pretty eclectic group on Twitter. My feed is typically full of NWS or met tweets with a healthy mix of Tiger Woods updates and a few single cousins who retweet every "I don't need no man" variation they can find.
