Besides the insane prices, I refuse to support Good Day Farms.
Jeff Landry took the growing licenses from LSU & SU and made sure his buddy Boysie Bollinger (owner of Good Day Farms) secured one of the two licenses. The corruption has to stop somewhere.

Also a helicopter belonging to Bollinger Enterprises has been at the Governor’s mansion all afternoon.
Must be celebrating.

No, this just occurred this last session.
Bollinger bought Good Day Farms in 2023.
LSU partnered with GDF for their growing operation since only LSU & SU held the 2 state growing permits. This year, the legislature decided that LSU & SU shouldn’t be in the weed growing business & took away the growing licenses. GDF got one of the licenses & LSU is no longer involved. Ilera took SU’s growing license I believe.

Previously, Good Day Farms and Ilera Holistics were growing it under the LSU/SU licenses. Now they each own one of the two licenses outright.
Anyone with a brain could figure out that Bollinger/Good Day Farms arm in arm with the alcohol lobby were the driving force behind the attempts to completely ban consumable hemp products this past session.

This is incorrect. Good Day Farms manages growing operations for both LSU and Southern and pays them a pretty penny as well
I see you said this just happened in 2023. I didn't know that if true

Never heard of him. Looks like he made more money from these weed stores than he did rapping.

How did Berner get his money?
Zack estimates that Berner's net worth is $410 million. Most of that is from Cookies, his cannabis business that does nearly $500 million in annual revenue.Jul 25, 2024

2024. SENATE BILL NO. 228.
Removed LSU and SU as licensed growers and gave the licenses to "the entities who held contracts with the Louisiana State University Agricultural Center and the Southern University Agricultural Center on January 1, 2024" as in Good Day Farms and Ilera Holistics. The bill bypassed the competitive bid process and limited the maximum number of growing licenses to 2, which will be held and guaranteed as long as they reapply annually.

This is 100% about money. They love to talk about health but it’s all bullshite. It’s not even a free market. Totally controlled by politicians and you can bet lots of money is greasing the wheels.
Why can’t we just grow this plant?
Why does it have to be government controlled.
I want to know who owns good day farms and ilera. Someone should submit a FOIA and find out what politicians these people are related to.

Who is the franchisee of this location? And is it required to get all its dope from the 2 allowed farms in Louisiana?
