So when you are younger you generally have more time to do fun things and feel good BUT don't have the money.

Sure you did. You had the money to hang out with your friends. That’s what it’s all about. Money just changes the venue - and the nice venues are great, but they are not the main event.

I’ve been thinking mid-50s is when I’d start testosterone therapy whether I feel like I need it or not.

If your testosterone is reasonably high you’d be foolish to do therapy.

Think about it: if we choose not to reproduce until our 40s/50s, it’ll create a selection pressure to keep humans fit in those decades that up until now have been ignored by evolution.

43.

Starting to catch glimpses of my late grandpa Ed (who was one mean bastard) when I look in mirror.

Testosterone is also the main cause of enlarged prostates so be careful.

How about not having them at all .

Not everyone is cut out to be a great parent, better that they avoid the whole thing .

Most people guess I’m in my late 30’s and say I don’t look like I’m in my 40’s but after I hit 43/44 the rest of this became painfully clear

My new hat trick is a colon resection in 4 weeks…..but I’ll be able to take Advil for the aches and pains again. And have some red meat here and there.

The human animal was not designed for such a long lifespan as we have today. The 44 year mark is almost certainly old DNA coding.

I am 50, and physically feel like I am 70. Between sports, work, and “fun” I have quite list of memories. Been one hell of a ride.

Had a pretty large drop off in athletic performance at 40. I could still exercise, just not as fast a runner and lots of injuries have cropped up. Now, at 56, those injuries are constant enough that I am very close to giving up consistent long distance running and replacing it with walking, swimming and other more low impact exercise. Sucks though because I love running and hate walking and swimming.

Mine is pretty low but I feel great. Hence not doing anything yet for treatment.

I’ve lifted weights and played sports forever although adding muscle was never easy. Feeling like it may get more difficult to keep it in late 50s without therapy.

At 36 I’m still lifting and running and overall feel pretty athletic.

At 36 my beard was a glorious red/brown. I had been growing it for 2 years. Decided to clean shave in June the year I turned 36. Kept it clean until my 38th birthday and decided that I wanted to grow my beard back out again. It came in 40% grey. Like what the frick happened? Nothing changed physically. Always work out. No greys on my head. Doctor just laughed at me and said welcome to Getting Grown.
