Not if you are Artie Lange.

When Howard was still funny, they did a bit where they dissected Artie's cable bill of PPV porn and analysed if he was at work when he ordered it.

Hulu live is different from the Hulu/ESPN/Disney package? Because that is almost $30 a month.

As soon as I can get to the Cox place to bring them their box I am canceling cable.

With Paramount, Peacock, Netflix & the Hulu/ESPN/Disney package I will have everything I watch. Well.. I will not have HBO but I might just get it for a month every so often so I can watch the shows I like, but my cable along is $180 and my Cox bill is $300.18 a month which I think is a lot especially when they will just up and increase prices on you... So every several months I have to call them with some bullshite about how my bill is a little more than I like to pay and I have to cancel unless they stick to the rate before they decided to increase my monthly bill.

Nufu for sports, at least that's what I'm using now. Been pretty pleased with that.

it’s becoming clear that streaming is now becoming more expensive than actual cable.

That was always going to be the case. Why? Because people were willing to pay those prices in the past, so the streaming services know they can keep inching that price tag up and up.

If you’re avoiding the high seas, the best is to stop thinking of “TV” as a monolith. Unless you watch a frickton of TV, most people would get better value out of renting/buying individual episodes or full seasons of the shows they want to watch. Pick up a sub to ESPN or YTTV during football season, then drop it after.

Yeah, I'm done with it.

Have the Hulu Live/Disney/ESPN + bundle.

Not giving these frickers $1200 a year.

I'll keep Disney + for the kids and will probably just get Sling. I don't even watch live TV outside of election coverage

That's a whole shite load of content to absorb for God knows what you are paying total.

And you called me an idiot for a $6K ring. You’re paying that in 20 months time to watch a screen. Well done.

I pay for YouTube Tv during football season, then I watch a lot of YouTube the other 8 months. OTA antenna fills in the rest.

Absolutely ridiculous and you are right, at this point streaming isn't any cheaper than cable.

The only thing still holding cable back are the stupid contracts. If cable would dump the mandatory contracts and fully go like Sling and do it over the internet, they would be competitive again.
