I don’t have any experience with the boot style in the OPs post, but the older I get, the more I find myself appreciate comfortable/quality footwear. Sometimes the extra money is worth it for a reason. But I agree with you that plenty of people out there just do things to try and look cool.

I have black ones from X-Tra Tuff and like them alot, especially during colder months. Only issue is black during summer is pretty tough.

They’ve got some good shite and it sorta makes sense for them to have Huk. Now seeing Simply Southern and Salt Life gear in Wisconsin was very weird.
