And while a 26-year-old is certainly permitted to go to Fred's, one would have to ask themselves, "Why?"

It’s a big weekend on campus and you can find a lot of age groups there before, during and after games. There was a battle of the bands Friday night.

There’s still alot of unknowns about the situation, but the victim is in critical condition. He has a very young family and the situation is just terrible all around.

Where else do you have fights after 3 or 7 beers?

The key to avoiding a fight is intimidation. If you’re on the verge of fisticuffs, immediately start taking off your pants. This signals to your opponent that you are an experienced fighter that knows the importance of flexibility and your legs will not be restricted by unnecessary clothing. There’s also the implications. At this point, your opponent will acknowledge your superiority and backdown. However, in the highly unlikely situation that your opponent responds by removing his pants, you must realize you are now in what Oldmanbeasley calls the danger zone and must prepare for all out weirdness.

I did not see the person being at Fred’s getting in bar fights as a family man.

A lot on this website like to romanticize about fights and bar fights. After 12 years old, if you get in a fight you chose to 99.9% of the time. There is almost always an out. At some point you have to grow up and leave

We had better and bigger fights at Murphy’s on a random Wednesday night.

All the more reason to NOT be at Fred’s after midnight. He should be home w/ his family.

Well, there’s the guy that’s apparently brain dead. I guess we’d consider that “hurt”…

They need to tear down Tigerland and start over. It's the worst night scene of the SEC schools.

I hope it was the entire bar fighting all the employees of a riverside towing.
Hopefully zero survivors.

Even when I was an undergrad, a bar fight, anywhere, I back up and put myself on a wall. Being a bigger dude, I knew the cops/staff were going to look at me and assume I was involved. So I made sure it was obvious I wasn't. One of my good friends was around 160, and his frat would sent him to fight anyone who had a girl at the bar that someone fancied, so they'd both get kicked out, and leave the girl by herself.

But nothing good ever happens after about 1230AM in that parking lot.

Yea that was definitely a Sports/Reggies thing. Freds was good about getting it to the parking lot and letting the cops eventually deal with it.
If you are old enough to remember Sports, you aren't old enough to know how trashy Fred's has gotten.
