Garbage bags that actually stay wrapped around the top of the garbage can instead of falling into the can after the first somewhat heavy thing gets thrown away.

This is why I use 30 gallon bags for 13 gallon can.

Why are gallons used as a measurement for the volume of trash?

all curb-sized trash cans at home depot are 50 gallon size but if you run out of bags, the biggest you can find at the local grocery store is 42 gallons and those dont fit and rip when you stretch them.

you gotta make a trip to home depot to get the 50 gallon size.

i can buy 500 sandwich-sized ziploc bags for $2 but pay $8 for a package of bacon that you have to stab with a knife to open and doesn't reseal.

Amen.

There are only 2 or 3 loose ends on the whole bag. You'd think I'd get it right 33-50% of the time.

Nope. I'd be surprised if I get it right 5% of the time. Why can't they just color code the correct end or something?

I was gonna say: Stop being a cheap arse and buy bigger bags.

I buy the custom liners for simplehuman cans and it's some of the best money I've ever spent for this exact reason.

Gross and flimsy toilet cubicles in public bathrooms.

Europe does this right. The space is usually entirely enclosed with a properly locking door with handle.

Europe can swing to opposites side of the spectrum real fast. Either really nice facilities which may require payment to use, or zero privacy hole-in-the-floor setup.

Never understood why they have to leave a fricking quarter inch gap between the panels.

fricking communist.

And brats and other sausages often come in packs of 5.

Establish a standard common multiple, please.

shite, a quarter inch gap is a luxury in some restrooms.

What gets me is the fact that large restrooms are built in such a way that they amplify any noise inside the stall. The slightest bit of gas will reverberate throughout the entire space.

My camper toilet has foot pedals. I've often thought why don't they put these on house toilets.

The dash corners on my Ram were super easy, and fortunately, they are the ones that make the most difference. I now have the best sounding vehicle I have ever owned.

The next step would be the doors, and I just don't feel like doing it.

I'm not really sure if this is a flaw that can really be addressed. We're beginning to see that with the ever increasing price of cable streaming options.

i did this once with a new car. i ended up having to pop about 4 'finishing tabs' out to get to the screws underneath and pried/popped the door insides off and had to remove about 3 wiring harnesses before i could get to the stupid speaker which of course looked like a 99 cent speaker that would come in a transistor radio.

i suspect there's a correlation to how hard it was to get to this and what the speaker looked like. This was a $35k vehicle.

Thanks for the swiss army knife, but i'm going to actually need the swiss army knife to get the swiss army knife out.

Can't stand plastic packaging like this.

Another design flaw that pisses me off is when you buy something that is known to be going outside, and it comes with screws that aren't coated or stainless steel, so it will without a doubt rust. For instance, the gate hinge i installed at the beginning of the summer has rusted screws in it. my basketball goal has rusted bolts. Just add a few dollars to the fricken product and put stainless steel screws in it.

I think when you click back on a thread you previously read, it should hyperlink you to where you left off before. Make it happen Chicken.

This exists and is used on another message board I post, and every single day I wonder why TD can't do it.

For example, let's say you mark the MSB read, all threads are read. 20 minutes later, you can click on unread posts, and it will only show you threads on the MSB with new posts. And further, if the last you clicked on a thread it had 1 post on page 3, you would see that thread if it had new posts in your unread thread link and when you clicked on it, it would take you right to the 2nd post on page, or the newest post since you last visited that thread.

If TD had that, it would be pretty darn amazing.
